Volunteers are a critical part of our mission to make sure that as many North Carolinians as possible have access to quality, affordable health coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace® at HealthCare.gov, Medicaid and other community resources.
Throughout the year, volunteer navigators across the state help inform consumers of their options through administrative, outreach and enrollment efforts. More recently, with the COVID-19 pandemic, volunteers have assisted with enrollment through remote assistance.
